“ Cute spot ... we always came to Buffalo Grill so didn’t expect to find Basin Bistro but we’re pleasantly surprised! Our food was perfect and delicious! We got the Avia burger, picnic club and chicken caprese sandwiches. The fries were hot and crispy ... the bread for the sandwiches were soft and tasty ... everything was perfect. The service very friendly and helpful we will be back! Love the courtyard and the Basin Bistro is a great place for lunch and hanging out. Thanks!!! ”

“ Tried this place recently under new ownership. The menu seems a bit more limited, but the food was delicious! I had the tres leches pancakes and they were heavenly! I added a side of crispy bacon. My husband had an egg & enchilada dish that was very good! The side salad was great on his dish too. We ordered the carafe of mimosas, and this was an excellent value compared to other places!! Mostly champagne! Great service and atmosphere. We chose to sit outside! I’m glad they reopened with so many other places closing! Wishing them the best! ”
“ I love the gem of a section that is Evia in Galveston, and Basin Bistro is yet another reason why. First off, they make some of the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. Outstanding! The veggie wrap is a perfect sandwich; light enough to eat the whole thing without feeling stuffed, but packed with enough goodness to feel well-fed. It has so many flavours swirling together and one complements the next. So delicious! I also had a couple froses which were also perfection. The bits of strawberry on top were an excellent touch. I could drink an entire vat of that! Service was wonderful; everyone was welcoming and helpful with menu decisions. The inside is cute to dine in but you also have the whole outdoor area to choose from with several types of seating options and places. It’s simply adorable here, and so peaceful. Highly recommend. ”
“ Amazing place for breakfast. The french toast is oustanding. The bread has the consistency of bread pudding. It's covered with a strawberry-blueberry compote. Outside the restaurant is a lawn area for children to play and there are tiny houses with vendors. ”
“ I loved this place!! This was my first time visiting and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. I got the Evia Classic and it was so delicious, those crispy tots were mouth watering. Coffee was really good and the atmosphere was just top notch. Definitely cozy beachy vibes, can’t wait to visit again. ”
“ It was my first time here since the Lil' Buffalo Grill closed. While I miss their old menu (no pork chops anywhere to be found), the Basin Bistro's menu is new and interesting. The overall look of the restaurant is very coastal and fits the whole Evia neighborhood vibe nicely. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen speed was slow (25 minutes to get a sandwich out to the table during lunch). The food was good, very fresh, and with the new variety of items, I'll definitely be back (I've got my eye on the Korean Chicken sandwich next). ”
